Roddin' On The River: Classic Car Fest For Charity

In Colorado, members of the River Cruizers Car Club of Bullhead City and Riverside Resort owner Don Laughlin will once again hold the annual Roddin' on the River car festival, showcasing some 600 classic cars.

The event will raise funds that will be donated to dozens of charities in the Colorado River communities.

The 19-year old partnership of Laughlin and the group has donated more than $400,000 to local charities. The festival is participated by the 125 members of the club who own cars that are at least 25 years or older. It also welcomes some 8,000 visitors yearly.

The highlight of the event is the awarding of the Don Laughlin's Pick, the Participant's Choice and the River Cruizers' President's Choice – among the 90 special awards to be given out.

The said event will be held at the Riverside Resort in September and will be represented by participants coming from the southwest and up to Canada and Alaska.
